UTOP Housing
UTOP 2024 Housing: Witherspoon Hall
UTOP students must submit a summer housing application. Students must indicate UTOP participation inside on their housing application. Students must select Summer Session II. The Summer Housing application is available now!

- 4 Person/2 Bedroom Suite: $1,005 (per term)
Meal Plans
The university offers meal plan options for students during the second summer session. UTOP participants have the option of whether to select a meal plan or not. When completing the online housing application, UTOP participants can select their desired meal plan option.
Participants can also select a meal plan by taking the following steps:
- Log in to my.charlotte.edu.
- Select “Banner Self Service” from the Essentials menu.
- Click the “Student Services/Student Accounts” tab.
- Select “Meal Plan Application.”
Meal plans are not included in the price of UTOP and are not covered through scholarship funding awarded from the program.
Other Important Information:
Roommate Requests: Mutual roommate requests may be made through housing application and must be a fellow UTOP participant; no exceptions.
Fall Semester Move-In: As a UTOP student, you will have the option of enjoying an early move-in for the Fall semester. Towards the end of the program, Housing and Residence Life will email UTOP students regarding Fall residence move-in on the final day of the program. All UTOP students must vacate UTOP summer housing by noon (12:00pm) on the last day of the program.
